Rocky Mountain Featherbed Down Vest is a classic RMFC design inspired by the 1970s. This garment combines two essential materials — leather and nylon — resulting in a clean, functional, and timeless design. Both the outer fabric and the lining are made from nylon taffeta, a material carefully developed by replicating original fabrics from the brand’s archives. Together with dedicated color cards, this process highlights the craftsmanship of RMFC garments and authentically reflects the brand’s heritage. The insulation features a specialized down blend that provides lightweight comfort and excellent thermal protection against the elements. The water-repellent treatment helps retain warmth even in wet conditions such as rain or snow. The leather is finished with dyeing techniques that enhance its natural texture and allow it to age beautifully over time, while ensuring strength and durability. Every detail is precisely crafted, embodying the authentic RMFC DNA. Chrome-plated steel buttons are designed to create an elegant visual contrast on the garment.
